BIOGRAPHY
Professor Leung joined as Faculty Member of Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, CUHK in 1983. He heavily devotes in trauma field in the past and is a key inventor of Gamma nail Asia Pacific. He actively contributes to fall and fracture prevention in the community in recent decades (http://www.no-fall.hk). He is a Foundation member of International Society for Fracture Repair (ISFR), Founding President of Asian Association for Dynamic Osteosynthesis (AADO), Vice-Chairman of Chinese Society for Computer Assisted Surgery and an active member of Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS).
He has published over 220 peer-reviewed international articles, 4 books (7 volumes), 38 book chapters, over 500 conference abstracts; he contributes as editor of 16 books and 5 professional journals. He was awarded with Chief Executive’s Commendation for Government/Public Service in 2009 and holds 15 patents.
