BIOGRAPHY
Professor Cheung is graduated as PhD in Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, CUHK in 2000 and joined as academic staff in 2005. He is also a Programme Committee Member of Biomedical Engineering Programme, Faculty of Engineering, CUHK and Member of Management Committee on the Laboratory Animal Services Centre. He serves as reviewers for AO Foundation and Annual Meeting of Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS); meanwhile, he is editorial board members of 7 international journals and ad hoc reviewers of over 50 professional journals. He is an active member of ORS, ISFR and ICMRS. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed international articles, 8 book chapters, over 300 conference abstracts and contributes as 1 book editor. He was awarded with Berton Rahn Research Fund of AO Foundation in 2013 and Healthstar Osteoporosis Medical-Research Award (HOMA) in 2020. He also obtains 3 patents (1 PCT and 2 US/China).
