马晓开，博士，助理研究员。2016年毕业于中科院植物研究所系统与进化植物学国家重点实验室。2011年在瑞士Institute of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany, University of Zurich从事访问研究。现为福建农林大学海峡联合研究院基因组与生物技术研究中心助理研究员。主持国家自然基金1项，福建省基金1项。已在《Functional Ecology》、《Journal of Chemical Ecology》、《Nature Precedings》等期刊发表论文5篇，参与著作编写1部。
主要研究方向：
以性别分化物种（墨兰，鸟足兰，菠菜，开心果等）为研究对象，利用基因组学和进化遗传学手段解析植物性别系统的进化机理

2.植物性别决定机理及性染色的起源与进化
3.群体基因组学和进化遗传学
