Weareinterestedindevelopingtechnologyformedicalimaging.Thefocusofourresearchisaroundpositronemissiontomography(PET),x-raycomputedtomography(CT)andgeneralx-rayimagingsystems.WesimulatefromdetectorstocompleteimagingsystemsusingMonteCarlobasedmethods,designandbuilddetectors,systemelectronicsandprototypesystems,developdatacorrectionandimagereconstructionalgorithmsaswellasdataanalysisandvisualizationtools.Wehopethetechnologyandtoolswedevelopedcanbeofgreathelptoclinicsintheprocessoftranslationalmedicine.
