本课程是机械工程专业工程硕士研究生教学的学科基础必修学位课。课程讲述处于信息时代的制造业如何用信息技术、系统科学、计算机应用技术等多学科综合技术改造、提升传统的制造业,及从系统科学的观点来认识组织制造过程。通过本课程的学习，使得学生能够了解、熟悉及掌握国内外当前发展的先进制造系统的基本理论及生产模式，最终达到拓宽学生的知识面，使得他们能比较全面地了解当今前沿的制造技术，为进一步的学习、研究和实践打下基础。

Advanced Manufacturing Technology is a compulsory course for graduated students whose specialty is mechanical engineering. Through the course study, the students will master basic function, principle, realized method and developing status of some correlative technologies in advanced manufacturing field, including design, manufacture and manage, and understand how these correlative technologies are applied in advanced manufacturing system. Through mastering these correlative technologies, the students will understand roundly advanced manufacturing technologies, and prepare for study, research and work in future.
