个人简介
Over the last 8 years, I have been involved in delivering EFL and ESL sessions to a variety of audiences at all levels. While working at the University of Central Lancashire, I was involved in designing materials, assessment and teaching English for Academic Purposes courses.
I also have over 3 years of experience in management working as an A-DOS at a busy language school in Manchester, where I was responsible for recruiting and training new teachers, timetabling and, during summer months, for running and co-ordinating a summer school.
Prior to joining UNNC, I had worked at the University of Liverpool where I was involved in teaching General English, English for Academic Purposes and designing, promoting and delivering IELTS sessions. The above was based on research that included such ideas as continuous formative assessment, extensive use of technology and eLearning systems (e.g. Blackboard/VITAL), pastoral support via personal tutorials and learner’s differentiation.
