个人简介
Before joining UNNC in 2017 I worked for many years at Newcastle University and Northumbria teaching mostly postgraduate students in the UK. In addition to teaching EAP, I have pursued my interest in research into the use of corpus based materials as well as differences in EAP provision at universities in different cultures and how these two aspects affect student performance in and out of the classroom. My latest piece of research investigates ways of mitigating ‘knowledge decay’ that takes place between semesters. I have also recently become a mentor trainer as I am passionate about interdepartmental cooperation and staff well-being.
