Research InterestsBuilding technology; production management; construction project management and contract administration.
Mr. Chan has been teaching at the City University since 2002. Before joining the University, he has worked for 22 years in the construction industry. He has all rounded experience in building contracting, construction project management and property development. He has also acquired extensive building construction experience at different levels from construction works in Hong Kong, Canada and Malaysia. He took leading management roles in the construction of many construction projects, including: university, racing course, office building, ferry terminal, commercial complex, residential building, hotel, industrial building and hospital. Before joining City University in 2002, Mr. Chan was the Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Property Ltd.
