1995 年 7 月讲师，2003 年 1 月教授；1993-1995 年哈工大现代焊接生产技术国家重点实验室 ；1998 年赴香港城市大学合作研究；1999-2002 年香港城大物理及材料科学系博士；2002 年底作为引进人才回哈工大工作；2002-至今哈工大先进焊接与连接国家重点实验室

研究领域
主持自然基金项目4 项，主持总装项目2 项，参与973 项目1 项，发表论文近200篇；大会和邀请报告10余次；研制的电源设备输出到美国、德国、新加坡、土耳其、印度等国。研究方向包括：
