Development trend of rural sewage treatment technology in China

Abstract:With the rapid development of the rural sewage treatment technology, lots of technologies has been developed and applied in the field of rural sewage treatment. However, there are still many problems in the practical application of these technologies in rural sewage treatment, such as excessive reference to the experience of municipal sewage treatment, the lack of standard guidance and specifications for technical selection, as well as the standardization of equipment. Based on the analysis of the merits and demerits of the common technologies in the rural sewage treatment in China, the application status of the technology in rural sewage treatment was reviewed, and the development trend of the technology in rural sewage treatment was also proposed. Currently, there were still many problems in the adaptability and standardization of rural sewage treatment technology. In the future, it needs to make breakthroughs in standardization, low consumption and high efficiency, automation and intelligence in the technology of rural sewage treatment, and to strengthen the adaptability of technology and equipment. This study provides theoretical exploration for the development of technology in rural sewage treatment in China.
