现任中国科学院南京地质古生物所研究员,博士生导师。长期从事寒武纪动物大辐射时期的生物、地层及环境背景等相关领域的研究。先后同德国柏林理工大学、瑞典Uppsala大学、瑞典自然历史博物馆、美国加州大学San Barbara分校、Virginia Tech大学、Hanover学院、俄罗斯科学院古生物研究所等单位的同行****开展了广泛的国际合作研究。现为国际寒武系底界再划分、第二阶、第三阶三个工作组的委员,国际寒武系分会通讯委员,中国古生物学会科普工作委员会秘书长,江苏省古生物学会常务理事,古生物学会微古分会理事。
学历:
1988年7月毕业于北京大学地质学系,获理学学士学位。
1991年6月毕业于南京地质古生物研究所,获理学硕士学位。
2000年11月毕业于南京地质古生物研究所,获理学博士学位。
