Jon has taught in the LC at City University since 2005 and been teaching English in Hong Kong for over 30 years. He trained as a teacher in the UK and at the British Council in Hong Kong and his background is from the communicative approach to language learning. In terms of workload at CityU he spends most of his time teaching, but is also a materials and assessment writer for courses and a mentor for less experienced teachers. He teaches LC, English Department and School of Graduate Studies courses.
