2010年,中山大学与伦敦卫生与热带医学学院博士毕业。 2011-2017年,澳大利亚Garvan 医学研究所及悉尼大学博士后。获国家留学基金委奖学金、教育部自然科学一等奖、澳大利亚NHMRC Early Carrier Fellowship、澳大利亚CASS 基金。在 Cell Metabolism (2x),Lancet Infectious Diseases (2x), Nature Communications, Current Biology, Molecular Metabolism, Emerging Infectious Diseases 和 Molecular Microbiology 等期刊发表高水平论文15篇,总影响因子 131,他引超过1000次, 研究成果引起了报括BBC在内约50家国际主流媒体的广泛报道, 并多次参加国际会议做会议报告, 任澳大利亚NHMRC基金评审人。
