Profile:


Nick Lischynskyhas been teaching English to speakers of other languages since 2012. Hereceived a BA in Linguistics (2010) and an MS TESOL (2015) from the Universityat Albany in the United States. In the United States, he was heavily involvedwith non-profit organizations in conducting ESL classes and individual tutoringsessions with newly arrived immigrants and refugees. These classes and sessionsmet a wide variety of goals, ranging from basic conversation skills anddeveloping beginning literacy to university preparation. He also worked inintensive language programs to prepare students for undergraduate andpostgraduate studies. Currently, he is an instructor in the English LanguageCenter (ELC) of Shantou University in Shantou, China, where he teaches first-and second-year students and carries out duties in curriculum planning andassessment writing.
Outside the classroom, he enjoys learning languages,kayaking, and watching movies.
