Scarlett (LIU Ying) graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an MA degree in MSc Education (Children and Adolescent Psychology Pathway). She has consistently demonstrated strong academic performance across all the postgraduate courses as evidenced by her grades which are all A or B band (equivalent of excellent and very good-the top ranks in UK University grading systems). She has also been awarded Grade A on her dissertation.
Before joining Shantou University, she worked as an IELTS teacher, teaching courses such as IELTS writing, grammar, foundational reading and listening. During her undergraduate studies, Scarlett worked as a part-time teaching assistant at New Orientalin her secondyear of college and worked as an English teacher in Cangzhou No.2 Middle School when she was a senior. With all those working experiences, she is much more convinced that she holds great passion and enthusiasm towards English and English teaching.
In her spare time, Scarlett is fullyinto aerobic exercise. She also wishes to try extreme sports someday like bungee jumping.
