聚合物太阳能电池
活性层中给体和受体材料
聚合物太阳能电池由共轭聚合物给体和富勒烯衍生物受体的共混膜(活性层)夹在ITO 透明导电玻璃正极和低功函数金属负极之间所组成,具有制备过程简单、成本低、重量轻、可制备成柔性器件等突出优点,近年来成为国内外研究前沿和热点。当前研究的焦点是提高器件的光电能量转换效率,而提高效率的关键是高效共轭聚合物给体和富勒烯衍生物受体光伏材料。我们对给受体的设计理念,可以用下图表示。

界面修饰层材料
传统器件结构使用透明导电聚合物PEDOT:PSS修饰ITO电极作为正极、低功函数活泼金属作为负极。PEDOT:PSS修饰层由酸性PEDOT:PSS水溶液旋涂在ITO玻璃上,酸性PEDOT:PSS对ITO具有腐蚀作用,同时器件顶部的活泼金属负极极易与环境中的水氧发生反应,这些严重影响器件的稳定性和工作寿命。这就要求开发一些界面修饰层材料提高器件稳定性。

为了进一步促进有机光伏太阳电池领域的学术交流,推动该领域的研究,同时提升我国在该领域的学术影响力,《中国科学:化学》编辑部邀请该刊编委,中国科学院化学研究所李永舫院士以及该刊副主编、华南理工大学曹镛院士作为特约编辑,为英文刊Science China Chemistry组织出版了"Organic photovoltaics"(有机光伏)专辑,发表在2015年第58卷第2期。该专辑报道内容涵盖聚合物给体光伏材料、聚合物太阳能电池器件、有机小分子给体光伏材料、有机小分子受体光伏材料、富勒烯受体光伏材料等。
李永舫院士和张志国博士在其评述文章(Reviews)中系统地评述了共轭聚合物给体材料侧链工程的研究进展,总结了侧链对光伏性能的影响规律,并被选为封面文章。

李永舫研究员应国际权威出版社Springer的邀请,组织编写英文专著《Organic Optoelectronic Material》。该书系统地介绍了有机光电材料的最新发展以及其在有机场效应晶体管、有机聚合物电致发光器件、有机聚合物光伏器件以及透明电极上的应用。本课题组张志国博士在第四章中详细介绍了蒸镀和溶液加工的有机小分子光伏材料的构效关系和设计思路。

本实验室在非富勒烯聚合物太阳能电池给体方面取得重要研究进展
本实验室发展了一系列基于噻吩取代苯并二噻吩(BDTT)与苯并三氮唑(BTA)单元的中间带隙二维共轭聚合物给体材料,通过侧链工程降低了HOMO能级,增强了链间相互作用,提高了空穴迁移率。使基于这类聚合物为给体、ITIC为受体的非富勒烯聚合物太阳能电池的能量转换效率达到11.4%。这一体系在给受体HOMO能级差只有0.11 eV的情况下仍然获得了高效的受体激子电荷分离, 从而获得了兼具高的开路电压和高的短路电流的光伏器件,这对于重新认识聚合物太阳能电池中的激子电荷分离的驱动力具有重要意义,也为将来的高效共轭聚合物给体光伏材料的分子设计提供了一种新思路和新途径,将对有机光伏领域的发展起到促进作用。该工作已在《自然通讯》、《美国化学会志》、《先进材料》上发表 (Nat. Commun. 2016, 7,13651; J. Am. Chem. Soc.2016, 138, 4657-4664; J. Am. Chem. Soc.2016, 138, 15011-15018; Adv. Mater.2016, 28, 8288-8295).

由本实验室张志国博士和李永舫研究员撰写的论文获《中国科学:化学》杂志社2015年度热点论文奖。

化学所报道本课题组在全聚合物太阳能电池领域取得的重要研究进展
本课题组使用基于噻吩取代苯并二噻吩和氟取代苯并三氮唑的中间带隙二维共轭D-A共聚物J51(Chem. Mater.201224,3247)为给体、n-型窄带隙聚合物N2200为受体制备了全聚合物太阳能电池,通过器件优化实现了8.27%的能量转换效率,为全聚合物太阳能电池迄今文献报道的最高值。这一高效率得益于聚合物给体与受体吸收光谱互补、氟取代二维共轭聚合物J51给体较低的HOMO能级和较高的空穴迁移率、以及使用了他们开发的苝酰亚胺类PDINO阴极界面修饰层材料(Energy Environ. Sci. 2014, 7,1966)。这一结果最近发表在《先进材料》上(Adv. Mater. 2016, 28,1884)。

李永舫研究员入选“2014 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher”(高引用科学家)
最近,Thomson Reuters (ISI Web of Knowledge)公布了全球“Highly Cited Researchers 2014”(2014高引用科学家)名录,李永舫研究员入选材料学科领域。据悉,“Highly Cited Researchers 2014”分为自然科学和社会科学共21个学科领域,全球共入选3215人,中国(包括港澳台地区)共162人入选;其中化学学科(Chemistry)198人入选,材料(material science)学科147人。据Thomson Reuters(托马斯路透网站http://highlycited.com/index.htm)介绍,“Highly Cited Researcher 2014”名录是根据最近11年( 2002-2012 )被ISI Web of Science(SCI)收录的全部自然和社会科学领域论文进行排名,基于ISI Essential Science Indicators (ESI,基本科学指标)中的“Highly Cited Papers”(高被引论文)即发表的论文为所属领域中前1%的高引用论文。

李永舫研究员被选为英国皇家化学学会会士(Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, FRSC)
  英国皇家化学会(Royal Society of Chemistry,简称RSC)成立于1841年,是世界上历史最悠久的化学学术团体,是欧洲最大的化学科学团体,也是最有影响的国际权威学术机构之一。只有在化学科学研究方面取得突出成就和为推动化学科学发展做出卓越贡献的科学家才有资格被推选为其会士。
