北京师范大学认知神经科学与学习国家重点实验室副主任,PI,教授,博士生导师,国家社科基金重大项目首席科学家,新世纪优秀人才入选者,全国心理学会语言心理学分会副主任,中华老年医学学会认知障碍分会常务委员,北京师范大学老年脑健康研究中心老年语言与记忆研究室主任,《心理学报》编委。研究兴趣集中在汉语及其障碍的认知神经机制。通过分析多种被试(正常成人、脑损伤病人、先天盲人)的汉语加工行为表现和脑神经影像学数据(功能像、结构像、颅内脑电等),考察汉语形、音、义和句法加工的正常和异常机制,及其相关的脑神经网络,并发展相应的临床评估和康复方案。其中部分成果以责任作者发表在Brain,Journal of Neuroscience,Cerebral Cortex等国际JCR1区top期刊。研究成果被Nature Reviews Neurology,Trends in Cognitive Science,Nature Communications,PNAS等国际期刊正面引用。

着重探讨语言,特别是汉语的认知神经机制。主要以脑损伤病人(脑卒中、肿瘤、外伤、进行性脑疾病等)的认知行为和神经基础为研究核心,结合健康人、先天感觉缺失者(先天盲人、聋人),考察语言系统加工及障碍的认知神经网络基础。同时也研发汉语障碍的临床实践工具。
