北京师范大学认知神经科学与学习国家重点实验室教授。1985年,毕业于河南医科大学,获医学学士学位;2003年,获以色列魏兹曼研究院神经生物学博士学位;2004-2008年,在美国哥伦比亚大学神经科学系从事博士后研究;2008-2013年,任中国科学院神经科学研究所认知神经机制研究组组长;2013年9月,任北京师范大学认知神经科学与学习国家重点实验室教授。中国科学院“”、上海市“浦江人才计划”获得者,并获科技部“973计划”资助。

致力于研究认知功能的神经机制。通过使用视觉、眼动和手动系统作为行为模型,研究认知功能如何对行为(如视觉感知、眼睛运动和手部运动)和神经活动产生影响。目前,实验室的基础科研主要集中于研究空间感知和空间注意力的神经机制;临床研究主要集中在探索单侧帕金森猕猴的运动和非运动障碍的神经机制。我们把心理物理、脑成像、单神经元记录和计算模型等方法相结合,以人类和其他高级灵长类动物为对象,来研究认知和脑之间的关系。在研究认知活动、大脑神经元电生理反应和行为方面做出了突出成绩。成果发表在Nature Neuroscience(通讯作者和并列第一作者)和Progress in Brain Research(通讯作者和第一作者)。在同期的Nature Neuroscience News and Views 专栏,国际同行高度评价了这一工作。
