个人简介
As a graduate of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) with a MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching, I have over 17 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in Asia. Before joining UNNC, I taught English to grade 10 through 12 students in an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. From that experience, I attained valuable practice in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP).

研究方向
Although I currently have no publications to my name, I am interested in World English’s, particularly the rise and impact of colloquial versions of English, such as Singlish, Konglish and Chinglish, on the Native Speaker (NS) versus Non-native Speaker (NNS) dichotomy. In essence, the NS/NSS argument hinges on the belief that there is one form of Standard English (SE) that can be used all over the world for standardization, which based on empirical evidence is simply is not the case.
