曹志诚,博士。本科和硕士毕业于西安交通大学医学电子系,博士毕业于美国西弗尼吉亚大学(West Virginia University)电子信息工程和计算机系。曾任Uhnder, Inc.(美国)公司无人驾驶高分辨率雷达成像高级算法工程师。研究兴趣包括生物特征识别、模式识别和机器学习、图像处理和计算机视觉、医学电子仪器、人工智能等。承担或参与中国自然基金项目、863项目、美国自然基金(US NSF)、美国国防部(US DoS)、美国航天航空局(NASA)等多项课题,在人脸识别、部分人脸和眼周识别、跨频谱生物特征识别等领域做出了诸多贡献,发表SCI/EI等论文20余篇,申请多项人脸和指纹相关专利。目前为IEEE、SPIE等国际学会会员,并担任多个国际学术期刊的审稿人,如Pattern Recognition,Neurocomputing, Machine Vision and Applications,IET Biometrics等。

Introduction
Dr. Zhicheng Cao is an Assistant Professor at the Deptartmentof Biomedical Engineering, Xidian University, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineeringfrom West Virginia University (USA). He received hisBS and MS both fromXi’an Jiaotong University, China. His current research interestsinclude biometrics, machine learning & pattern recognition, computervision and image processing with focus onmulti-/cross-spectralface and periocular recognition. He is the PI/co-investigator of several China NSF, China 863, US NSF, US DoD, US NASA funded projects. He has published more than20 indexed papers and applied several patents in related area.He is a member of IEEE and SPIE. He serves as a reviewer of several international academic journals, such as Pattern Recognition,Neurocomputing, Machine Vision and Applications, IET Biometrics, etc.
