- 无线自组织网络、传感器网络、多媒体网络的设计、分析与实现：
多址接入控制（MAC）、路由与数据收集（Routing and Data Collection）、服务质量支持（QoS Provisioning）、无线网络跨层设计（Cross-layer Design）、无线网络的软硬件系统设计与开发（Implementation）
- 无线信道的测量、分析与建模：
基于天线阵列和有向天线的信道测量系统设计与实现、阵列信号处理、三维多输入多输出（3D MIMO）信道和毫米波（mmWave）信道的测量与建模
- 航空航天通信系统与网络的设计与实现
无人机、卫星测控系统、飞行器编队自组织网络
科研工作：
主持国家“863”计划、国家自然科学基金面上、青年基金、陕西省自然科学基金、陕西省留学人员科技活动择优资助（优秀项目类）、教育部“博士点基金”、华为公司合作课题等科研项目十余项，作为骨干参与国家“863”计划重点项目、工信部民机重大专项等。
