简历：1988年4月获复旦大学理学博士学位, 1988年7月任讲师, 1991年5月任副教授, 1993年4月任教授, 1995年2月任博士生导师。现任复旦大学生命科学学院院长、遗传学研究所所长。兼任国务院学位评定委员会生物学科组成员、教育部科技委委员兼生物学部委员、上海市科协常务委员、中国遗传学会常务理事兼副秘书长、上海市生物工程学会副理事长兼行业协会会长。


主要研究方向：
人类基因大规模克隆、测序和功能；基因芯片技术和应用及相关生物信息学研究；大肠杆菌 DNA 复制机制、耐热酶、PCR 技术及应用等方面的研究。
承担科研项目情况：
糖尿病相关基因的克隆及功能研究（863项目，345万）。
获奖情况：
大肠杆菌染色体复制对重组基因recA的依赖性研究 国家教委科技进步三等奖 1993；
PCR技术检测孕妇外周血中胎儿细胞的研究 全军科技进步三等奖 1994；
用PCR技术对运动员进行性别检查的方法学及应用 国家体育总局体育科学技术进步二等奖 1999；
