Biography BEng, Ph.D.
Area of Specialisation
Planning, navigation and control of UAVs and mobile ground robots; multi-agent systems; system modelling and simulation.
Short Description
Dr. Huang obtained BEng in Automation from China University of Petroleum, Beijing, and Ph.D. in Systems and Control from University of New South Wales, Sydney. Before joining the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
Recruitment
Dr. Huang is looking for undergraduate interns, research assistants, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, MPhil students, MSc students and visiting students. They should have an interest in the research relevant to UAVs and mobile robots. Targeted applications include but not limited to search and rescue, target surveillance, construction automation and last-mile delivery.
