Christy has over twenty years of experience in the English Language Teaching (ELT) profession in Australia and Hong Kong. The experience covers designing and teaching EAP, ESP, applied linguistics, and teacher training courses for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
She is currently the Coordinator of Bespoke Services and provides curriculum design for self-funded courses and language support. Her other role is supporting the applicants of eminent scholarships and the joint degree program with Columbia U. She has also served as a coach for pitching events such as Innovation and Technology Fund (TSSSU) or CityU Employers' Luncheon.
She is an English subject panelist appointed by the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation and Vocational Qualifications.
Her professional interests include writing across the curriculum, dissertation writing, entrepreneurship education, and quality assurance in higher education.
