Flora Leung joined the LC in 1997. Since then, she has taught and coordinated a wide range of language proficiency courses for associate degree and degree students, including Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Presentation Skills, Social English, Interactive Communication, Grammar in Use, Independent Learning, Language Skills for Research Projects and Writing Academic English. She is currently teaching Freshman Writing and English for Business Communication offered by the Department of English.
Apart from teaching, Flora has been a coordinator of the Summer Reading Programme, a language advisor at the Self-Access Centre, a mentor of the English Language Mentoring Scheme, a mentor of the SPIL GTAs and a coordinator of the practical language activities which provide opportunities for students to practise and improve their English language skills outside the classroom.
