湖南大学教授、博士生导师,汽车车身先进设计制造国家重点实验室固定成员,中国机械工程学会塑性工程分会高速成形技术委员会副主任,面向汽车和航空航天等行业需求,开展先进轻量化制造技术研究,发表学术论文100余篇,获得国家发明专利13项,软件著作权3项;主持的科研项目合同总经费为500余万元,研究成果在沈飞、首都航天机械、上汽通用五菱、南京云海特种金属、上海宇航系统工程研究所、湖北博士隆、湖北回天新材、华菱涟源钢铁等企业推广应用,产值效益达1200万元,牵头制定首都航天机械有限公司企业工艺规范4项。

2018年12月3日于韩国济州岛在第十四届亚太工程塑性及其应用国际研讨会上作大会报告,崔俊佳教授是6场大会报告中唯一的中国嘉宾,其余5位参与大会报告的嘉宾均是来自世界各地的塑性工程研究领域的顶级专家:澳大利亚Deakin University副校长Peter Hodgson教授、韩国汽车工程学会院长Hoon Huh教授、美国洛杉矶Los Alamos国家实验室的高级科学家Ricardo Lebensohn、美国通用汽车研发部Thomas B. Stoughton博士和日本广岛大学Fusahito Yoshida教授。该次会议共有来自希腊、德国、新加坡、澳大利亚、英国、美国 、日本、韩国及中国香港等20多个国家和地区以及国内高校、科研院所等近300名专家参加了会议。

团队长期招生,每年招收车辆工程、机械工程及工业工程的硕士生共10名,博士生1-2名,985高校直接攻读博士生名额不限。
