研究方向:纳米及分子水平上的生物分析化学、分子工程、纳米生物医学器件、化学与生物传感器

1957年生,1987年获湖南大学分析化学博士学位,1989-1991年在瑞士苏黎世联邦高等理工学院(ETH)进行博士后研究。1991年回湖南大学任教,1992年晋升为湖南大学教授。曾任国际纳粹与应用化学联合会(IUPAC)分析化学委员会委员,国务院学位委员会化学学科评议组成员。现任湖南大学学术委员会学风与学术道德委员会主任,国家自然科学基金委化学部专家咨询组成员,英国皇家化学会学术刊物The Analyst国际顾问编委,美国Current Proteomics杂志编委,高等学校化学学报副主编。主要从事化学生物传感新原理、新方法研究,在分子、细胞和活体水平上的化学、生物信息获取及表征等方面进行了系统研究,获得了创造性的研究成果,先后承担国家“973”子项目、“863”项目、国家科技攻关计划项目、科技部国际合作重点项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、教育部重大项目等30余项,在Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Nucleic Acids Res.、Chem. Commun.、Anal. Chem.、Biomaterials、Biosen. Bioelectron.等国际知名杂志、国内外核心学术刊物及重要的国际学术会议上发表论文200余篇,已获得发明专利授权25项;获湖南省自然科学一等奖(2009)、湖南省科技进步一等奖(2003)等奖项。
