湖南省“121”人才工程第一层次人选。持久性污染物控制与资源循环利用江西省重点实验室主任。国家环境保护有色金属工业污染控制工程技术中心学术委员会副主任、国家重金属污染防治工程技术研究中心专家委员会成员、重金属污染防治产业技术创新战略联盟副理事长、水污染控制技术湖南省重点实验室学术委员会委员、国家科学技术奖评审专家、国家自然科学基金委学科评议组专家;华中科技大学、中南大学兼职教授。《环境科学与技术》、《中国无机分析化学》等期刊编委。研究成果先后获得2005年度国家科技进步二等奖(排名第1)、2011年度国家技术发明奖二等奖(排名第2)、2004年度湖南省科技进步一等奖(排名第1);2006年度高等学校科技进步一等奖(排名第2)。2009年度湖南省自然科学二等奖(排名第2)。近五年来先后主持国家自然科学基金重点与面上项目、“863”计划项目、湖南省重大专项等科研项目20多项,发表SCI收录论文100余篇,出版专著1部,参与编写外文专著1部,授权发明专利19 项。
