白彦魁 教授，男，1977年12月生，理论物理专业硕士生导师。分别于2000年6月和2003年6月在河北师范大学物理学院取得学士和硕士学位。2003年9月至2006年6月在中国科学院半导体研究所攻读凝聚态物理专业博士研究生，并取得理学博士学位；2006年9月至2008年8月在香港大学物理系从事博士后(Research Associate)研究；2008年9月作为引进人才到河北师范大学物理科学与信息工程学院工作，同年被破格评为教授。

曾参与多项国家自然科学基金课题，主要从事量子信息理论研究，其中包括：(1) 在局域操作和经典通讯条件下未知量子态的纠缠探测和度量；(2) 多体系统中量子关联与量子纠缠的描述；(3) 多体量子系统中纠缠动力学演化特性。目前作为课题负责人，主持一项国家自然科学基金项目“多量子比特系统中纠缠描述的研究”（2010.1-2012.12）。已在《Phys. Rev. A》、《J. Phys. A》、《理论物理通讯》等国内外学术期刊发表论文16篇，其中SCI收录13篇。
