学术成就
主要从事新生代植物区系、生物多样性起源与演化及古气候、古地理、古环境背景等方面的研究。曾主持国家自然科学基金重点国际合作研究项目及面上项目等10余项。近几年在本领域重要刊物“Gondwana Research”, “Earth and Planetary Science Letters”, “National Science Review”, “Journal of Systematics and Evolution”, “Climate of the Past”, “Climatic Change”, “Earth-Science Reviews”, “American Journal of Botany”, “Taxon”等发表论文八十余篇。兼任中国古生物学会理事、中国古生物学会古植物学分会副理事长、中国植物学会古植物学分会副理事长、现代古生物学和地层学国家重点实验室学术委员会委员、东北亚生物演化与环境教育部重点实验室学术委员会委员、古生物学报副主编等工作。
