传染病防控的基础研究、应用基础研究、转化医学研究，诊断试剂、疫苗、抗体研发，涉及病毒性肝炎、艾滋病、流感、手足口病、结核、人乳头瘤病毒相关疾病等。
Basic, applied and translational researches for understand and control of infectious diseases; development of vaccine and diagnostics, especially for viral hepatitis, AIDS, influenza, hand-foot-mouth disease, tuberculoses and human papilloma virus-related diseases.
