研究方向:
园艺作物采后不可避免地会遭受营养缺乏,生物和非生物逆境胁迫的影响,导致大量的采后损耗。因此阐释园艺作物品质形成和采后成熟、衰老及逆境生物学机理尤为重要。我们主要以番茄、草莓、菠萝、龙眼和柚子等园艺作物为研究对象,通过功能基因组学和生物信息学等手段,与二代测序相结合的ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, BS-Seq, RNA-Seq等多组学交叉相关技术,在全基因组水平上观测生物学过程的表观修饰动态,解析园艺作物采后生物学及逆境生理相关的转录调控网络,挖掘潜在的调控机制。
目前大部分重要作物的基因组已经被测序,但是通过全基因组测序和比较基因组手段,很难解析复杂的生物学过程和多基因在不同群体中的调控特征。因为趋同进化会使不同基因有相似功能,相同基因会因启动子区域调控元件和表观修饰不同而调节机制不同。因此我们利用人类ENCODE计划的方法,在植物中创建ENCODE数据,通过系统研究植物发育过程的基因表达、染色质可及性、DNA甲基化和组蛋白修饰等动态变化和转录因子结合位点,全面剖析生物学过程的转录调控网络。
