包含乘性/加性噪声的非线性和线性随机过程;
沙尘和黑碳气溶胶在全球气候模式中的不确定性;
对流、云、气溶胶、降水及气候的相互作用;

奖励荣誉 发展了一套基于经典冰晶异质核化理论的沙尘和黑碳混合云冰晶异质核化参数化方案,该方案已经被美国国家大气研究中心(NCAR)下一代地球系统模式中大气分量模式(CESM2-CAM6)、美国能源部气候模式(E3SM)以及挪威的气候模式(NorESM)采用;
在著名的Zhang-McFarlane对流参数化方案中考虑对流随机性,改进后的该方案已接入清华大学地球系统科学系的CIESM地球系统模式中。
