清华大学机械工程系教授,国家“****”引进人才。美国爵硕大学(DrexelUniversity)机械工程与力学系、生物医学工程、科学和健康系统学院AlbertSoffa讲席教授(ChairProfessor)。生物制造和计算机辅助组织工程领域国际著名学者。
得到美国科学基金会(NSF),美国宇航局(NASA),美国联邦航空局(FAA),美国国防部(DoD)、美国陆军研究所(ARL)和生物制造企业(强生集团,Therics)等科研经费资助逾550万美元,其中作为首席(PI)完成15项科研项目,包括美国科学基金会“计算机辅助组织工程重点项目。
共发表期刊论文、书和书章85篇;国际会议论文及摘要215篇,邀请主旨报告、专题报告等145余次,申请专利16项。在美国开展了多注射嘴生物沉积系统挤出的海藻酸钠水凝胶相混合的肝细胞的短期后处理活力等一系列研究。研制的微肝组织器官应用于美国国家宇航局(NASA)对宇航员微重状态下药物载体模型研究。
