Abstract:A majority of the physical, biological, chemical and environmental processes relate to the interfacial water. However, for the interfacial water itself, there are still many puzzles unsolved, which have made the interfacial water an important scientific research object for quite a long time. In this paper, we review some recent progress on the dynamics of interfacial water confined in one-dimensional and two- dimensional spaces, and on the surfaces on biomolecules and materials as well.
