个人简介
Motto: Doctrina Perpetua
International multicultural professional with background in academia and entrepreneurship. Ethical core inextricably linked to the field of education and project management, driving forth a series of language portfolios across Europe since 2000. As an experienced English language practitioner, I specialise in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) planning, designing, delivering and evaluating curricula in a variety of fields, including the corporate, engineering, and medical spheres. In tandem with project managing a series of assignments, I have been actively involved in delivering education programmes in the tertiary sector throughout universities in the U.K, Spain, and China.
As an Anglophile and Hispanophile exposed to diverse cultural environments, I am deeply passionate about second language acquisition and education. Undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Education whilst being employed at UNNC enables me to experience and have direct access to the unique educational environment of a trans-national university in China. Coupled with bearing witness to the dynamism of China’s rich cultural history and economic flourishing, and having an affiliation to one of the largest English Language Centres (CELE) in Higher Education, the experience is positively challenging and enjoyable.
