Introduction: Associate professor Ehsan Roohi joined Xi'an Jiaotong University in September 2019 as young talent. His research group focuses on rarefied gas flows and gas flows at micro-nano scales, as well as renewable energy, combining experimental techniques and numerical simulations. Dr. Roohi has strong publication record (H-index: 26, citations>2093) and his research has been published in Physics Reports (IF=28), JFM, JCP, PRE, PoF, with international collaborators in Bulgaria, Switzerland, and Germany.
The International Center for Applied Mechanics (ICAM) is the first of its kind major research center for applied mechanics in China. It also serves as a "special zone" to support talented young researchers to develop ambitious research plans.
