段宝岩，1955年生于河北冀州市。1977年考入西北电讯工程学院（原西军电、现西安电子科技大学），先后获工学学士、硕士及博士学位。1991-1994年英国利物浦大学博士后，2000年美国康乃尔大学高访。现为西安电子科技大学教授、博士生导师。国家973首席科学家，全国天线产业联盟主席。国际工程技术学会会士(IET Fellow)，教育部科技委国防学部、先进制造技术学部委员、机械学科教指委副主任，工信部电子科技委委员，《电子机械工程》与《电子学报》等10个国内外学术期刊编委。
长期从事电子机械工程的教学与科研工作，开辟了我国电子装备机电耦合研究的新领域。系统地建立了电子装备电磁场、结构位移场、温度场之间的场耦合理论模型，揭示了机械结构因素对电性能的影响机理，提出了基于场耦合理论模型与影响机理的机电耦合设计理论与方法。成果已成功应用于探月工程、神舟飞船工程、主力战舰及500米口径大射电望远镜等国家重大工程与装备中。以第一完成人获国家科技进步二等奖3项，省部级科技进步一等奖4项。发表被SCI/EI检索论文200余篇，国际会议特邀报告8次，著书5部，授权发明专利30余项。
曾被授予全国五一劳动奖章（2003）、全国劳动模范（2005）、全国师德先进个人（2004）、全国留学回国人员成就奖（2003）、全国优秀科技工作者（2011）等称号。入选2009年度科学中国人，2012年获香港何梁何利科技成果奖。2016年11月中央电视台《大家》栏目播放了专题片“小学科 大视野”。

Prof. Duan Baoyan
Resume: President of Xidian University, doctoral advisor, member of the satellite payload expert group of the General Armament Department, member of the advanced manufacturing technique expert group of CETC, born in March 1955, native of Ji County, Hebei Province.
He started working in February 1975, and received his Engineering Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctorate from Xidian University in 1981, 1984, and 1990, respectively. He was sent by the then State Education Commission to make research at the University of Liverpool, UK as a post-doctoral fellow from October 1991 to October 1994, during which time he went to the University of Hokkaido, Japan as a guest research fellow. In 1994, he returned to work at Xidian University. In 1995, he was appraised as the “Young Expert with Outstanding Contributions”of the then Ministry of Electronic Industry. In 1997, he was appraised as the“Excellent Returned Student”of Shaanxi Province and selected into the Shaanxi provincial “Trans-century Talents”. In 2000, he was appraised as an “Excellent Communist in the Educational Institutions of Shaanxi Province”. In 2002, he was awarded the title of “Shaanxi Provincial Model Worker”. In 2003, he was granted the national “May 1” labor medal and appraised as the national advanced individual among the returned students. In 2004, he was appraised as the national advanced individual of teaching ethics and the Shaanxi provincial pacesetter of teaching ethics. In 2005, he was honored with the title of “National Advanced Worker”.

Achievements of teaching and scientific research:
He directed and participated in the research work on quite a few international cooperation projects, major projects of the knowledge innovation engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Natural Science Foundation (key project), and the national defense advance research, gaining a series of significant achievements and successively winning 6 Science and Technology Progress Awards at the provincial level and above.
