在教学工作中,先后承担过本科生的《近代物理实验》、《普通物理学》和《原子物理学》及研究生的《实验数据处理》、《计算机高级语言》和《粒子物理学》等课程的教学任务。
在科研工作中,主要从事中高能及高能核-核碰撞的研究工作,目前主持省自然科学基金项目1项,主持完成省青年科学研究基金项目1项、校级自然科学研究基金项目1项,参与国家自然科学基金项目4项、省级科研项目8项。在《Physical Review C》、《Chinese Physics》、《Chinese Physics Letters》、《Radiation Measurements》、《Chinese Physics C》、《原子能科学技术》等期刊发表论文28篇。参与的研究项目获2009年度山西省科学技术奖(自然科学类)三等奖(第二完成人)。
