主要以模式植物拟南芥和玉米为实验材料，研究植物激素介导的植物根可塑性生长发育，具体研究内容如下：

1. 植物根尖干细胞维持和分化的分子机理；

2. 植物激素和周围环境信号互作调控植物根的可塑性生长发育；

3. 植物重力响应分子机理。
