科研成果：

以俯冲带的构造特征及演化为主要研究方向。综合构造地质学、地质年代学以及地震学等多学科研究方法，针对中国中央造山带以及西太平洋俯冲带开展详细的研究工作，所得成果对深入理解深俯冲板片折返机制、俯冲带大地震触发机制、岛弧岩浆作用、弧后扩张作用以及相关俯冲动力学过程具有重要意义。已累计发表SCI论文35篇，其中第一作者10篇 (www.researchgate.net/profile/Xin_Liu60)。主持中国博士后科学基金面上资助项目1项，主持山东省优秀中青年科学家科研奖励基金1项，参与国家自然科学基金项目3项。
