以造山带的构造特征及演化为主要研究方向。综合构造地质学、显微构造地质学及同位素年代学等多学科研究方法,针对中国中央造山带以及中亚造山带开展详细的研究工作,所得成果对深入理解造山带的构造演化过程具有重要意义。已累计发表SCI论文15篇,其中第一作者2篇。
