课程内容简介(英文) KCJJY"Biopotential measurement is designed to meet the demands of graduate students of medical college. It introduces the fundamental principles of amplifying, sampling, processing of common biopotential. The course is divided into three sections: fundamentals of measuring system, common biopotential measurement and the methods used to understand the electrical functioning of neurons in the central nervous system.Section One: A short introduction to characteristics of biopotentials which include EEG, ECG, EMG, ERG, EOG, membrane potential of neurons and visual evoked potential. Basic requirements for the biopotential amplifier. Fundamental principles of digital signal processing, including A/D converter, sampling theorem, conception of time-domain and frequency-domain, FFT and digital filter.Section Two: Detailed study of EEG, ECG, EMG and biopotential of visual system, including characteristics both in time-domain and frequency–domain, applications of instrumentation. This section explains how to minimize measurement noises, to amplify signals and to get the most out of biopotential.Section Three: Basic knowledge of electrophysiology of centre nervous system. Description of advanced techniques used to detect functions of centre nervous system. Here we introduce the principles, applications, developments and limitations of two techniques: single-unit recording and patch clamp." |
