课程内容简介(英文) KCJJY"Medical Literature Retrieval course is a sense of intelligence training, teaching medical information retrieval skills applied courses. The objective is to teach students information retrieval and raise students’ information awareness, so that students master the skills of literature search and information resources to enhance the capabilities of self-learning and independent research ability. Through courses to learn how to use various means of retrieving information from various sources, the acquisition of the knowledge required to improve student information acquisition, processing and utilization of the capacity to engage in practical work for the future, as well as scientific research papers written by laying a solid foundation. The course includes five chapters. The first chapter is the overview of this course, such as the definition of the information, intelligence, document, knowledge and the principle of the medical literature retrieval. The second chapter is about traditional retrieval books, such as Index Medicus, Excerpta Medica, Biological Abstracts, and Chemical Abstracts. The third chapter is about Databases on CD-ROM, focus on the MEDLINE and CBMdisc. The fourth chapter is about Internet retrieval that includes search engines, medical search engines, and Databases on the net, focus on the Free Medline, OVID, PML, SPRINGER, CHKD and etc. The fifth chapter is the medical literature writing. This course includes 12 hours in internship. Students should independently finish 20 questions through retrieving the databases and Internet. The textbook is Medical Literature Retrieval published by Science Publisher in 2002." |
