本课程主要讲授组织学的研究技术包括光学显微镜技术，电子显微镜技术，组织化学术，免疫组织化学术，原位杂交术，细胞化学定量术和组织培养术等常用的原理、方法及应用；激光扫描共聚焦显微镜的原理、方法及在生物医学研究中的应用；光学显微镜的构造、彩色显微摄影的方法等。通过课程的学习使研究生能正确地选用适合的方法应用于其研究领域，掌握相关技术解决科学研究中遇到的问题。本门课程既适用于形态学科的研究生，也适用于功能学科的研究生。

"In the study of morphology, the postgraduate will be introduced to the results obtained from various forms of morphological technique.How these results were obtained should always be borne in mind since it influence their interpretation. Thus, it is important for the postgraduate to understand the applications and limitations of the various types ofmicroscopes in use today and the basic principles underlying the different methods of preparation of tissues.Some of the more common methods used to study cells and tissues and the principles involved in these methods will be reviewed here:preparation of cells and tissues for examination, optical microscopy, electron microscopy, laser scanning confocal microscopy, examination of living cells and tissues, problems in interpretation of tissue sections, and microphotography."
