生物化学技术是在基础生化课程的基础上 ，着重于介绍生物大分子的检测分析分离方法。主要内容包括生物组成成分的"分离"和"检测"， 如电泳技术、层析技术、核酸纯化、聚合酶链反应、限制性片段长度多态性分析、单链构象多态性分析等技术，是一门理论与实验密切结合，并以实验为主的课程。"科学之进步，端赖试验方法之精良。"各项生物化学技术是医学科学研究工作的基本工具。技术的发展大大推动了医学科学研究工作的发展。电泳由纸电泳发展成凝胶电泳、等电聚焦电泳、双相电泳等，层析则从简单的纸层析发展成各种类型的柱层析，包括亲和层析、气相层析、高效液相层析等，使得性质类似，过去无法分离的化合物，现在可以获得很好的分离，从而为更好地研究这些化合物奠定了良好的基础。分子生物学的发展也为生物化学技术注入了新鲜"血液"，聚合酶链反应技术的发明和发展，限制性片段长度多态性分析、单链构象多态性分析等技术的应用使分子水平的研究更方便可行。本课程主要向学生介绍各项常用的生物化学技术，并配以相应的实验课，既有理论，又有实践，通过本课程的学习使学生获得生物化学技术的基本知识和基本技能，掌握基本实验思路和实验操作，应用于实践，成为今后研究工作的有力工具。

Biochemical Technology is a major course for Medical Laboratory Science.It is the development of Basic Biochemistry. Biochemical Technology introduce measurement technologies.The course has these chapters:Preface,Cellulose acetate membrane electrophoresis,Agarose gel electrophoresis,Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis,Isoelectric focusing,Gel chromatography,Affinity chromatography,Ion-exchange chromatography,Polymerase chain reaction,Restriction fragment length polymorphism,Single strand conformation polymorphism,Centrifugal technique,etc. Biochemical techniques are the basic tools for medical science research. With the development of technological forces,there are significant improvements in medical science research area. Electrophoresis such as gel electrophoresis, Isoelectric focusing,generates an electrophoretogram a display of protein zones,each one sharply separated from neighboring zones,on the electrophoretic support material.With the technical improvements and advancements,more powerful chromatographic techniques are the important analytical techques that are extensively used in the clinical laboratory.
