该课程是面向高等教育学专业研究生的方向必修课。课程内容主要由研究生教育基本理论、外国研究生教育发展以及我国研究生教育管理三部分组成。要求学生能掌握研究生教育的特征、基本规律和基本制度，了解国内外研究生教育的发展、现状与问题。教学的主要方式为讲授和研讨。

This is a distributed required course geared to the higher education postgraduate students. It’s content involves fundamental rules of undergraduate education, foreign graduate educational development and the management of China graduate education. By learning this course, students should master the properties and fundamental laws and regulations of graduate education, and understand the development, present condition and problem of internal and external graduate education. Instruction and discussion are the two main ways adopted in teaching this course.
