《港口与国际航运管理》是物流专业工程硕士的必修课程之一。国际航运同国际经济和贸易的发展息息相关，在国民经济发展中起到举足轻重的作用，而航运公司则是国际航运艰巨任务的主要承担者。本课程为航运公司的管理提供了相关的理论和实践的指导，为航运公司培养合格优秀的管理者提供了有效的支撑。本课程的内容主要分为三个部分：第一部分侧重国际航运相关理论及宏观环境的介绍，包括：国际航运管理的概念的本质，对国际航运管理认识的演变发展，国际航运管理所处的宏观环境：与其密切相关的经济贸易、航运市场、市场中活跃的航运组织及国家的宏观调控政策等。通过这一部分内容的学习，使得学生了解航运管理的本质以及开展航运管理活动的外部宏观环境。第二部分从国际航运的核心业务展开，航运活动主要以不定期租船运输和定期班轮运输两种完全不同的方式开展。除深入了解两种运输作业方式外，不定期租船运输中，如何进行租船营运方式的决策，如何进行航次运输成本、定期租船运输成本核算，会在很大程度上决定船舶所有人的经济收益；班轮运输中如何规划航线，如何分配运力进行航线配船，如何进行成本核算、制定运价在很大程度上会影响班轮运输经营的经济效益，进而影响班轮运输公司能否在激烈的竞争中取得优胜地位。第三部分从航运企业的经营管理角度展开，引入一般企业管理学的相关知识并结合航运企业所独有的特征，对航运企业的主要资产（船舶、集装箱）的管理、企业组织架构的管理、航运业务统计分析等进行介绍。航运业的首要任务是要保证航运安全，对此相关的企业质量体系管理、安全与安保管理、海上突发事故的应急管理等也进行相关介绍。

International Shipping and Port Management is one of the compulsory courses for Engineering Master majoring in Logistics Engineering. International shipping is closely related with the development of international economy and trade, which also plays an important role in the development of national economy. Generally speaking, the shipping enterprises work as the main undertaker of international shipping. The course instructs the managers in shipping enterprises in theory and practice, which also help the enterprises to bring up qualified and outstanding managers.The teaching content is mainly divided into three parts:The first part introduces the concerning theories and environment on international shipping, including: concept and nature of international shipping management, the historical evolvement of the international shipping, the international shipping management environment, international trade, shipping market, shipping organizations、macroscopic readjustment, policies and so on.The second part emphasizes the core shipping business which is explored in two completely different ways: tramp shipping and liner shipping. In tramp shipping, how to make charter decision and how to account voyage cost and time charter cost will be introduced. While in liner shipping, factors affecting liner company’s profit increase will be introduced, such as: how to design shipping line, how to allocate freight capacity to liners, and how to account voyage cost and make traffic. The third part introduces management of shipping enterprise. Generic enterprise management and special character of shipping enterprise will be introduced. The content covers main assets (just like vessel、container) management、enterprise framework management、statistical analysis of shipping business and so on. As the top task of shipping is the safety at sea, the concerning content involving enterprise quality system management、security and safety maintains、emergency management on paroxysmal accident at sea will be introduced.
