内容分近代通信网络与基础、光子ATM网络、光网络接入、网络新技术研讨四个部分十八个专题,包括传统光纤通信局域网络、光纤传输与放大技术、ATM技术、全光通信技术、光交换技术、光分组交换网络、光网的个人接入网络、下一代光网等。 本课程知识结构自成体系,由浅入深。重点介绍近十年通信网络领域的新技术.

课程内容简介(英文)

The course includes four parts, which are the basic of the modern communication networks, Photonic Asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networks, Optical access Networks, and the forum of advanced optical technology for networking. It can be divided as 18 topics, covering optical communication system, optical fiber transmission and amplifier, ATM technology, AON, Optical switching technology,optical packet switching,the personal accessing to optical networks, the next generation optical networks, etc. Each topic has its own system of the knowledge on technology, from basic to advanced one. The key points of this course is to lead the learners to grasp what the novelty of this study area.

课程考核要求

考试/EXAMINATIONS每人做一次一个专题的15分钟报告/15mintues per person期终大作业: 不同学期,主要根据不同条件,分配各位同学考核内容,如通过评阅国际刊物邀请本人评审论文的稿件(首先选国外刊物,其次选国内刊物)请各位同学评阅,得出评阅意见。根据评阅意见,使同学获得如何写国际刊物文章,如何被同行专家评审,掌握一些技巧,最后再根据各位同学掌握的情况予以评分。Normally, each candidate will be assigned a manuscript submitted to a journal, you will review it and give your ideas on it. at last, you need write a reviewing letter and your suggestion to be accepted or rejected on it. By such ki9nd of work, you will study ability on how to prepare a paper toa journal and how to be reviewed.By the way, the score on this course is obtained by your working on this specfic topic of the manuscript.
