个人简历 1943年出生。研究员，博士生导师。 1965年毕业于复旦大学生物系遗传专业。在中国科学院遗传研究所历任研究实习员、助理研究员和副研究员，1988年破格晋升为研究员。1989、1991和1995年起先后任所学术委员会副主任、主任和副所长，＂遗传学报＂和＂遗传＂两刊主编。现任中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所学术委员会主任和植物基因组学国家重点实验室学术委员会主任，国家自然科学基金委生命科学部专家咨询组专家。
研究方向 长期从事植物分子遗传学研究。 其领导的实验室的主要研究方向是水稻分子遗传学和基因组研究。
